Stick Figure Suicide can be best described as fast melodic punk with catchy hooks, a sense of humor, and a hardcore edge.

The story of how sFs formed is basically too long for any website (and my
fingers would probably fall off before I finished)...so I'll try to condense...

The band was started back in 1997 when Paul Suicide and some friends got together
to create music for the sake and fun of creating music..."we were just gonna
let whatever was in us come out, reardless of what other people thought of it." What came out was a brand of punk rock that is unique and all their own. Surprisingly, their new style seemed to strike a chord with many who heard it, and it wasn't long before they began to be well-known in the local NJ scene. What is the band's recipe for success? Mix equal parts of old and new-school punk, add a dash of metal, a pinch of hardcore flavor, a measure of cynical irony, and pop sensibility. Swirl it all together, and SFS's fresh, original sound will emerge.

....well, to make a long story short...the band has had many members to date but has always kept that same view toward the music they've been making....The current lineup has been together a little more than a year, but it feels and sounds like they've been together for much longer. They are willing to work hard and currently do everything from within the band...they manage themselves, book their own shows and tours, made and maintain their website themselves...they are totally DIY.
